Here I am. Ok... so some basic "cutting down" tips: 1. Plan your meals. You workout hard, so should eat a large enough dinner, but just portion what you think you need and eat only that. Don't go back for 3rds, or 4ths. Get what you need to start and stick to that 2. Stick to your meal times. Have a set Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't have a 10PM 2nd dinner, or a 12PM before bed dinner. Try to stick to your eating times, with a light caloric snack when you need it. Never eat past 8, because that food doesn't get time to be burnt off and is stored when you sleep a lot of the times So having your eggs or cereal for breakfast is good, lunch at school is fine, dinner at home. Try to avoid unneeded desserts or processed foods (like snack cakes or what not, there satan). Have like some crackers or cheese or something if your hungry after dinner. Avoid caloric drinks too! Drink milk, but not a half gallon, you could probably have SOME juice, but having a nice fruit would be better. Try to find places you could cut a few calories. Drinks are normally the easiest place! Water is magical And my most important tip... Get into a weight loss mindset! Your so tall and solid that you can eat about 2500ish calories to maintain your weight. If you want to lose ONE pound, you have to burn 3500 calories more than you burn! So if you ate 2000 calories a day, you'd loose a pound or two a week! So if you can look at a candy bar and say, wow... if I don't  eat you, all those calories will be burned off extra! Anything you don't eat will not be needed to be burned off, so your body will be able to get to the fat! So try to wrap your mind around that if you can randomly cut out crap, it will go towards your positive eaten vs burned ratio. because of your activity, MAKE SURE YOU EAT PLENTY when you need it though. Before and after games and practice. Don't starve yourself, just eat good, high protein, lower calorie meals. Don't eat 3 double cheesies or a WHOLE pizza. When your eating pizza, stick to a few pieces, at like 600 calories a slice, it quickly adds up! So eating 5 slices is pretty much your daily intake and will be hard for your body to burn anything else off except this pizza! Just remember those things, and try to resist the urge to eat everything all the time (gum?) and you'll be very happy how fast you lose stuff! just don't go overboard! Just moderation if you want to shed a few. Keep track to, get on the scale every day and keep a chart in your mind. COUNT THOSE CALORIES!!!
